I understand the desire to have more followers. But I think a better desire is to have more that is worth following. Or perhaps it can be a commitment than more than a desire. A commitment to deepen. A commitment to learn. A commitment to do what has been learned. A shift from “I don’t know how to do that” to “I want to learn.”

I think this is what Jesus did. No advertising or SEO or targeted newsletters. He just talked about a message worth hearing and people showed up.

Having an attitude of wanting to learn ensures never being caught in a rut. Amazing how often it still happens because we have taken our eyes off the road, so to speak.
I do want to learn. I just need to make it a priority.
