SZALLGUD

I was given a great reminder while waiting at a traffic light the other day. I was behind a truck with a license plate that read: “SZALLGUD” – “it’s all good.”

License plate saying, "SZALLGUD"

I’m not sure what the truck owner meant by it, but it was a great reminder that “…God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28).

When we are in the thick of life, it may not seem like it’s all good. It might seem like it’s all bad.

God does not say when it will work together for the good. But He does promise that it will.

Timing is also critical in getting to “all good.” Jon spoke to me and a group of friends a few weeks back and shared that point. If your friend has had a recent tragedy, now would not be the time to share that things will work out for the best, even though they faced significant loss or pain.

I hope you can see good today. Or light at the end of your tunnel, if you can’t see the good yet.
