Jon.

Wondering what to say when someone’s loved one has died?

Talking to people after a loved one’s death is scary. This Is Hard gives you words from a hospital chaplain that will help you know what to say, and not to say. It won’t get easy, but you won’t be lost.

Praying through the pandemic

God. We Still Need You.

It’s a collection of prayers for people who want them all gathered together.

It’s a record of reflection of what happened during a year.

It’s an offering to my co-workers of what I was asking God for on our behalf.

How do I lead a funeral?

When you least expect it, you may find yourself leading a funeral or memorial service or celebration of life. Giving a Life Meaning is what I would send you if you asked for help. Reflecting my experience in communication and chaplaincy, I help you build competence and confidence. We walk through the pieces of a service, answering questions and offering examples and samples. It’s not for everyone, thankfully, but if you are in this situation, this book will help.

Read this book to learn how to talk with the Bible.
