She lived by prayer.
Every surface of her apartment walls was covered with photos of people that she prayed for.
My mom was a very faithful pray-er. She kept written journals to see how God answered prayer.
After she died, I talked with her pastor, and he jokingly said, “There has been an interruption in the force!” (Carefully-applied humor is often helpful to lighten the mood when people are grieving.)
So I enjoyed thinking about my mom today and thanked God for her influence in my life. And on eternity.
And then I remembered that I can pray for people too.
