Distant gentle thunder

lightning

Summer evening. Low rumbles of thunder reverberate across the dark night skies. Flashes of lightning cross the horizon every minute or two. Yet there’s no rain.

I’m reminded of how God works in our lives. He’s very powerful. He works continually, often in the background. He loves to remind us of His presence if we’ll listen.

Even when we want rain – or sunshine – and don’t experience that, God knows our needs and is powerfully active.

Stop and enjoy the bass symphony and bursts of fireworks!
